Ross Family Vacay-Week 1 Recap
So we’ve been on vacation mode for just over a week now and I thought I’d share some of our trip highlights.
We flew into Philly and then drove right up to Aunt Carolyn and Uncle David’s in Oneonta, NY.
Where . . .
We had fun playing in the pool |
And lounging |
The kids had some great sibling bonding time |
Kids had fun bonding with grandma |
And Grandpa |
Big boys shot some guns (under Uncle David’s amazing supervision and guidance) |
I shot a gun for the first time ever! And. . . |
Was a pretty good shot. . .If I do say so myself |
We also went to this awesome butterfly house
My daughter loves Monarch Butterflies |
There were all kinds and colors |
Little “dude” checking them out |
Back at the house . . .
My “city boys” did some manual labor |
And got to drive a tractor |
More fun by the pool. . . |
With snacks of course |
We were sad to leave the fun but it was time to move on and we headed back to grandma and grandpa’s house.
Had a great week hanging out. . .
We went to the Children’s Museum and did some painting |
The little ones learned to “change a tire” |
More sibling bonding (love it!) |
And had a lovely tea party (with real tea) |
Then we went to the Philadelphia Zoo |
And had fun seeing lots of animals |
Now we’re having a fabulous time at the beach! Will share more on our adventures next time. Hope you’re all having a great summer too!
